We’ll explore the why behind each step, with careful attention to temperature, timing, and solvent choices so the medicine retains its full therapeutic value.

Together, we’ll walk through the entire process from raw mushroom material to finished extract, covering the subtle decision points that directly influence strength, bioavailability, and effectiveness.

You’ll leave with:

  • Your own bottle of mushroom double extract, crafted in class

  • A clear understanding of how and why each step of the process matters

  • A printed, step-by-step instruction guide to confidently repeat the method at home

Instructor Petals Bradley is a local herbalist and Ayurvedic practitioner of 10+ years, and the founder of Woodland Wellness Farm Apothecary. As a medicinal herb farmer and double-certified Holistic Ayurvedic Practitioner trained in both Ayurveda and herbalism, her work centers on the importance of treating the whole human rather than isolated symptoms, making her work palpable and powerful in today's shortcut-driven wellness culture.

Class Ticket Terms and Conditions

All sales for events, classes and workshops are final. Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable. If you cannot make it, send a friend instead!

Weather in Rabun County is variable. Classes will be held rain or shine. The Apothecary Barn is a cozy spot for gathering, in addition to ample garden space. In the event of serious inclement weather, we will reach out to reschedule. If you are unable to attend the new date, you have the option to receive a voucher for a future workshop or a refund.

If there is low-enrollment for a class, Stellar Roots Herbs may notify you of cancellation. In this case, you will have a credit voucher for future workshops or you will be able to receive a refund.
