Led by members of the Stellar Roots team and visiting herbal educators, this seasonal experience combines plant identification, foraging, and practical herbalism in the fields and forests of the farm.
We’ll start by exploring what’s growing, learn how to identify useful plants and discuss traditional and contemporary ways to harvest, prepare, and use them. Your group will harvest seasonal fresh herbs and then move into the Apothecary barn to make an herbal preparation together to enjoy and take home.
Each experience is tailored to your group and the season, offering an engaging way to deepen your relationship with the plants, medicine, and living landscape of the Southern Appalachians via Stellar Roots Herb Farm.
Experiences are 3 hours, and we have weekday and weekend dates. We will reach out to schedule a date once you register!
